The Klubhouse is a curated dinner experience bringing together Black Founders, Creative Artists, & Professionals as a prelude to Roots Picnic Weekend.
Intentionally designed as a space to unwind and connect, the evening will center conversations that spark creativity, a West-African meal by a private Michelin-trained chef, signature cocktails, music & more.
Roots Picnic Weekend brings over 60K attendees to Philly each year. This night is an opportunity for successful Black professionals to connect & celebrate Philly’s entertainment, tech, hospitality, and art industries.
Guests are invited to show up hungry, confidently, and expect to have an unforgettable night.

About The Chef:
Nana Araba Wilmot grew up in Cherry Hill, New Jersey — but her culinary roots reach back to the kitchens of Accra, Ghana. After graduating from the Art Institute of Philadelphia, she trained under Iron Chef José Garcés and went on to cook at Daniel Rose’s Le Coucou — helping earn its Michelin Star and James Beard Award.
During the pandemic, Nana returned to Cherry Hill and launched Love That I Knead from her backyard — an intimate supper club rooted in West African foodways. Today, she operates Georgina’s Private Chef & Catering Co. across New York, Philadelphia, and Accra. She is also currently on this season of Top Chef!
What To Expect At The Klubhouse
An elevated dining experience centered around a West African meal. Each dish is designed to be comforting and refined, creating a moment that invites you to slow down & be fully present at the table.
Your ticket includes signature cocktails, mocktails, beer, & wine from Two Locals Brewing, Philly’s first and only Black-owned brewery.
Using PA spirits, the beverage menu will complement the evening’s flavors.
The energy of the night is set by DJ Woah Nelliee. The soundscape will move with the evening, creating the perfect backdrop for both conversation and celebration.
The heart of the night is connection. You’ll be in the room with founders, creatives, & professionals from Philly + cities across the country.
This is a space designed for real conversation, where introductions turn into opportunities & strangers leave as collaborators.
